Course Information

The course contains 30 units which are spread out over 6 semesters of learning; which take 2 years to complete. There are two modes of learning: online and physical classes.

     This diploma program provides a strong foundation for careers in various settings, including:

• Theoretical Frameworks: Exploring various approaches to counselling psychology, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, eclectic and humanistic theories.
• Psychological Assessment: Gain skills to conduct comprehensive Psychological Assessment for a better understanding of client needs and create effective treatment plans.
• Evidence Based Therapeutic Techniques – Mastering evidence based techniques to address a wide range of mental health concerns such as: depression, anxiety, loss, and relationship issues.
• Ethical and Legal Considerations- Learn the ethical guidelines governing the counselling profession which ensure responsible practice.
